As an incentive to promote public understanding of architecture as an art form that transforms the physical world and the built environment, open arch/ve consolidates the role of the Archive as an agent of heritage citizenship, considering the anthropological trajectory in the field of cultural heritage with the accumulation of field experiences related to academic research.

By establishing itself as a device for transformation, cultural interface and disciplinary reflection between practices and processes, it creates a cycle of guided tours with commented urban walking routes, designed and accompanied by specialists, and activities in different formats that enrich the visit to certain spaces — free activities, promoted by participating spaces, collectives or other cultural agents, which are presented in different formats in each edition: exhibitions, workshops, debates, concerts, film screenings —. Free access by appointment, except in marked exceptions, to emblematic spaces of recognized architectural value, is intended for all types of audiences, whether specialized or curious.
