In accordance with the strategic, scientific, pedagogical and cultural planning of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (FA-ULisboa), the arch/ves has become an integral part of the discourse and alignment of the objectives proposed in its study plan, gradually becoming part of the school's day-to-day activities. This integration, which has been taking shape over the last two years, reveals FA-ULisboa's vision of the Archive, not only as an important recipient of documentary material, but also as a repository for the subjects taught in the three cycles of studies, gradually contributing to academic training in the areas of Architecture, Urbanism and Design.

The articulation with the Research Center for Architecture, Urbanism and Design (CIAUD) reinforces institutional sustainability, ensuring the continuity of ongoing scientific projects and the incubation of new lines of applied research. At the same time, this synergy gives the archive greater visibility when attracting competitive funding (FCT, Erasmus+, Europa Criativa, Património.pt) and real support when applying for partner initiatives, which can position arch/ves as a heritage research infrastructure with national and international impact.
